STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Custom Fields on the application form are used to collect any information you want about the volunteer except for Contact Details, General Availability, General Interests or Qualifications, as these items are covered in other areas of the software. Because questions on an application form are usually grouped into sections, the first thing you need to do is add a section header.

1. Go to: Configuration >> Custom Fields.

2. Run your mouse over the options Icon , and click "New Header".

3. Type "About you" in the Header field.

4. Check the Volunteer Module box (because these fields are about volunteers).

5. Fill in a description (visible to volunteers) if it would be helpful. In most cases, you won’t need to, but you can in this example just to see what it does.

6. Click the [Save] button.
