STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

You can choose whether or not volunteers can log their own hours in their profile and whether or not you would like to approve their entry before it is saved. Detailed directions below:

1. Go to: Configuration >> Organization Settings >> General Settings.

2. Scroll down to the ‘Scheduling and Hours Settings’.

3. In the Default Log Hours Permission box, select either ‘Can log hours with approval’ or ‘Can log hours without approval’ to enable hours logging by the volunteer. This will be your default setting for all volunteers.

4. If you need to approve the hours of certain volunteers you can change this setting from within the volunteer profile.

5. Go to the miscellaneous tab of the volunteer profile.

6. Scroll down to Volunteer Settings.

7. Select the desired option from the Log Hours Permission dropdown. Click [Save].

Below are the instructions a Volunteer can follow to log their own hours through MyImpactPage.com:

1. Log on to MyImpactPage.com.

2. Click on the Hours tab.

3. Select the activity you are logging hours for by selecting it from the dropdown beside “Activity”. You can change which activities display in the drop down by clicking on the desired button below the list (Recent, Active or Inactive).

4. Enter the date you worked in the field beside “Date Volunteered”.

5. Enter the number of hours and minutes worked.

6. Answer feedback questions associated with the activity (if there are any).

7. Click the [Save] button to create the hours log entry or [Save and log another] if you want to create another entry.
