STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

A basic search can be run to find a volunteer or list of volunteers that match a specific set of criteria. For the purpose of this trial we will walk through an example that will produce a list of volunteers on the screen. However, this search function can be applied in the same way to perform many other tasks within your Better Impact account including running reports, communicating with volunteers and performing volunteer status changes.

In the example below, we are going to search for volunteers that are not on the schedule on a specific date (Saturday, June 9th, 2018), and who are qualified for a specific activity (Information Booth Attendant).

3. Optional: In the ‘Communications Filters’ section, select the desired option. Settings are broken down into three categories (email, mobile email and text messaging).

4. Optional: In the ‘Group Filters’ section, select the desired option.

6. From the Search Type drop list, select what you would like to search for (in this example we will select ‘Schedule Date’).

7. Click on ‘Not on the Schedule’.

8. Enter a date or date range.

9. Select the category and activity from the drop list (or leave as 'do not filter' to apply the search to all categories and activities).

11. From the Search Type drop list, select ‘Qualified for Activity’.

12. Make sure that ‘Qualified for activity’ has been selected.

13. Select the category and activity from the drop list.
