STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Now that you have created the initial foundation of your eLearning module you’ll need to add a section (or several sections) to your module in order to add the content and associated questions that will result in the passing grade. Follow the steps below to begin adding the content to your module.

1. Move your mouse over the Options icon to the left of your new Module and select ‘Add New Section’.

2. Enter an internal name for your section (this will not be visible to your volunteers).

3. Enter the content – this is what the volunteer can see when taking the module (this could include text, images and/or videos).

4. If the section has content only, leave ‘this section has a question’ box unchecked and click [Save].

5. If this section will contain a question for your volunteers to answer check the box and start by entering the first potential answer in the box beside the letter ‘a’.

6. Click the [Add Answer] button to add another potential answer for the question and enter the desired text. Repeat to create more answers.

7. Click the button (o) to the right of the correct answer to your question.

8. Click the [Save] button.

9. Continue adding sections until you have added all of the content and questions you need.

Preview:

1. Go to: Configuration >> eLearning Modules.

2. From the Options icon to the left of a module, select ‘Preview’. You’ll see the Module (with each section numbered automatically for you) as the volunteer would see it when they take the module.
