STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

There are just a couple more options to customize your activities that we will review in this section. When you create your activities, you have the ability to control what volunteers can see specific activities based on Qualifications. Sometimes it is also important to gather information from volunteers after a shift or an activity. Information such as the # of interactions or incidents that took place or even just questions about overall volunteer satisfaction. This information can be gathered with the use of feedback fields. The step by step instructions below outline how to add qualifications and feedback fields to your activities.

1. Go to: Activities >> Manage Activities. Hover over the icon beside the name of the activity you set up earlier and click on ‘edit’.

2. Click on the “Qualifications” tab at the top of the page.

3. Select the relevant Qualifications for this activity. Volunteers must meet or exceed what you select here to be considered qualified for the Activity. Considered qualified for the Activity can define whether or not they can see it and whether or not they can Self Schedule.

4. Click the [Next] button.

5. Check the box beside each Feedback Field associated with this activity. When hours are logged for the activity, volunteers will be asked the question posed in the “Display to volunteers as” column. If the Feedback Field you need for this Activity has not yet been created, you can create it by clicking the [Add New] button.

6. Click the [Save] button.
