STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Activities can also be used to streamline, schedule and manage your volunteer interviews, orientations and onsite training. If an interview or orientation are required prior to fully on-boarding a volunteer; you can have “Applicants” or “In process” volunteers sign up for these activities through their online volunteer profile. We will start by creating a new Activity Category to manage these processes.

1. Go to: Activities >> Manage Activities.

2. Run your mouse over the green options icon and click New Category.

3. Enter the name of your category header.

4. Fill in a description if it would be helpful. In most cases, you won’t need to, but you might want to for your trial just to see what it does.

5. Click the [Save] button.
